lilacs

I started this painting a little over two years ago. It’s moved a few times, out of Harrisburg where it was started. And where the lilacs it is based off of live (on the corner of Verbeke and Green). It was packaged up and unpacked, worked on, packed back up and eventually unpacked again recently and finally finished. I’m kinda in love with it. Which is usually a good sign that it’s time to let other people see it too. Which is a convenient segue into the fact you can see it (plus 3 others) for four days this July at The Harrisburg Fringe Festival as a part of the Visual Fringe exhibit. A bunch of fantastic artists will have their work on display at the venues across Harrisburg. You can seen mine at The Gamut Theatre at 15 North 4th Street.

The Harrisburg Fringe runs July 6-9th. The Visual Fringe, the “art walk” multi-venue exhibition that will be a part of Festival’s main exhibit. At each venue you’ll see visual works of art from a talented and eclectic group, I’m so honored to be included and I’m genuinely excited to see all the exhibits.
