spring is ridiculous

Recently I found myself on a walk, with my camera and the glorious spring awakening was unfolding right in front of me.

These are a few of those shots. I’m so in love with them! They are reminders to be in the moment and to appreciate, to savor that moment. Below is the story (ramble) of that day. In my print shop I’m offering a limited run of 5 framed fine art prints of these photos. Follow this link for more details about those prints and how to purchase.

The dandelion looking up towards the sky, taking in all the rays, a feisty little sundial. Peach blossoms and pear blossoms, oh my! They are so pert and happy, they grabbed my attention again and again.

At the end of my walk I found myself on the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex. I love this place in most seasons, but early spring is especially lovely. This is where I played hide and seek with a Northern cardinal. I was able to snap a couple pictures of him, the bright red against the sky blue and pinky white blossoms of the Japanese cherry trees.

Ultimately I sat under those cherry trees and watched the petals float in the breeze. Unbothered and at ease. It felt so nice and these photos really remind me of those feelings.

If you feel those feelings, unbothered and at ease, when you look at these photos you can find details about ordering a framed print here. I love sharing my work.
