a fair autumn day
poetry

a fair autumn day
On a fair autumn day
With cotton ball clouds in an azure sky
Slow your breath
To match the pace of those clouds
Everything will decelerate and
Sway with the yellow gold foliage
Who still cling to their inky arteries
Suspended above they twist and pull
Stop to revel in the delight
That comes with observing opposing colors
And the sound of dead ginko leaves
Free from their tethers and laughing
As they trip along on a hasty breeze
